These air fried seasoned fries are made with vrat-friendly ingredients—no grains, no onion or garlic—just wholesome flavors and a crispy texture that feels like a treat. Light, satisfying, and quick to make, they’re perfect for anyone looking to keep their Ekadashi meals nourishing yet enjoyable. Whether you're serving them as a side, a snack, or the star of the show, this easy recipe delivers restaurant-style fries with a fraction of the oil. With just a handful of spices and your trusty air fryer, you’ll have irresistibly crispy fries ready in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 russet potatoes - peeled, washed, & cut into Batonnet

  • Hot Water

  • Salt

  • Rosemary

  • Chili flakes or ground chili flakes

  • 2 tsp oil

  • Black pepper to taste

Preparation


  1. First peel, wash, and cut your potatoes into batonnet slices

  2. In a bowl with the sliced potatoes, add boiling hot water till all the potato slices are beneath the water, salt, and mix really well. Cover this for about 20-25 minutes

  3. Drain the water. Then add the seasoning: salt, pepper, rosemary, and ground chili flakes, or simply red crushed pepper. Mix really well

  4. Oil the air fryer tray and spread the fries onto the tray

  5. Put the fries into the air fryer on bake setting at 325 F for about 12-15 Minutes or as your preferred crunch level

  6. Serve hot with some ketchup, say a little prayer and enjooyyy!!
