About the Recipe

A delicious medley of savory goodness, our fried rice is a harmonious blend of perfectly cooked brown rice, sautéed vegetables, and your choice of premium proteins, all tossed together in a smoky wok for that signature crispy finish. Infused with soy sauce, ginger paste, and a touch of sesame oil, each bite delivers a burst of flavors that is both comforting and satisfying. Topped with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and served hot, this dish is a classic favorite with a rich, aromatic profile that will transport you straight to the heart of Chinese culinary tradition.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. On medium-high heat, heat up a wok or nonstick pan. To that add in sesame oil and let it heat up

  2. Add in chopped jalapeno and ginger paste, toss in the mixed vegetables, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Add in 1 tbsp of sambhal and give this a really good mix. Let this cook for 2-3 minutes

  3. Warm up with rice packet as instructed on the packet. Add the warmed up rice to the wok/pan

  4. Toss in 1 tbsp sambhal, sweet sour sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and soy sauce, Give everything a really good toss and let it cook for 5-7 minutes

  5. Turn the stove off and add in the chopped cabbage. Give it another good mix. Let the heat from the veggies and rice cook the cabbage

  6. Serve hot, top it off with sesame seeds, say a little prayer and enjoy!!

p.s - i love my veggies to have a bite/crunch so don't cook them till tender. The times listed are as such. If you like your veggies to be tender cook longer.
