About the Recipe
A delicious medley of savory goodness, our fried rice is a harmonious blend of perfectly cooked brown rice, sautéed vegetables, and your choice of premium proteins, all tossed together in a smoky wok for that signature crispy finish. Infused with soy sauce, ginger paste, and a touch of sesame oil, each bite delivers a burst of flavors that is both comforting and satisfying. Topped with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and served hot, this dish is a classic favorite with a rich, aromatic profile that will transport you straight to the heart of Chinese culinary tradition.

Ingredients
1 pack Ben's original whole grain brown rice - Click here for product link
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp chopped jalapeno
1/2 cup frozen mix vegetables
3-4 chopped baby bella mushrooms
1/3 cup chopped bell peppers (mix and match colorful ones or keep it simple with 1 variety)
1/2 cup chopped cabbage

2 tsp sweet and sour sauce - Click here for product link
1 tsp rice vinegar - Click here for product link
black pepper to taste
2 tbsp soy sauce - Click here for product link
Sesame seeds for garnish
Preparation
On medium-high heat, heat up a wok or nonstick pan. To that add in sesame oil and let it heat up
Add in chopped jalapeno and ginger paste, toss in the mixed vegetables, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Add in 1 tbsp of sambhal and give this a really good mix. Let this cook for 2-3 minutes
Warm up with rice packet as instructed on the packet. Add the warmed up rice to the wok/pan
Toss in 1 tbsp sambhal, sweet sour sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and soy sauce, Give everything a really good toss and let it cook for 5-7 minutes
Turn the stove off and add in the chopped cabbage. Give it another good mix. Let the heat from the veggies and rice cook the cabbage
Serve hot, top it off with sesame seeds, say a little prayer and enjoy!!
p.s - i love my veggies to have a bite/crunch so don't cook them till tender. The times listed are as such. If you like your veggies to be tender cook longer.
